IT Support Engineer
My client is consistently voted as one of the ‘Times Top 100’ companies to work for in the UK.
They are currently expanding in their core IT support department and looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer
Key responsibilities for this role include;
·To provide high quality, telephone-based, technical support on a wide range of Industrial Software and associated products
·To ensure that each issue is logged appropriately and the information contained in it is relevant and up-to-date
·To keep customers informed of the progress of any issue that is not resolved immediately
·To work with the Technical Support Team Manager to ensure that, where appropriate, issues are escalated in accordance with Company Policy
·To ensure any opportunities are communicated to the relevant team
·To be a trusted advisor for the products allocated including certification on products where applicable
·To stay up to date with the development of new products & operating systems.
·Work with the Support Manager in the introduction, and maintenance of, Support Procedures.
·To exceed our expectations for customer satisfaction, NPS and Customer Effort measurements.
The ideal candidate for this IT Support Engineer role will be able to match the following criteria;

·Desirable technical knowledge or skills in some of the following areas:
·Windows Operating Systems
·SQL ServeSwitch Configuration
·Physical to virtual server conversion
·Live migration of Hyper-V hosts.
