The role – A Technical Architect with exceptional experience in the following;

* Systems analysis
* Documenting change requests
* Experience in system design and solutions
* Experience in creating Proof of Concepts
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written across a wide range of audiences
* Able to communicate technical information to non-technical users
* Able to gather and understand complex business requirements and systems
* Able to work on several projects at the same time
* Excellent organisational skills
* Able to work to deadlines
* Self-motivated with ability to work independently and under pressure
* Good team working skills
* Positive and flexible attitude
* Can-do thinking, proactive
* Confident & happy to work in a dynamic fast-moving environment
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to use your own initiative for solving problems

Experience in the following technologies is also needed;

* Relational SQL Database
* Java
* Agile
* XML / APIs

Your role responsibilities will include;

* Understand business requirements from an IT systems / development point of view
* Analysis of 3rd party technical specifications (XML/API) to understand gaps before development starts
* Gain broad knowledge of all aspects of systems to understand changes required
* Assist Technical Architect in analysing technical change requests
* Liaise with Development Team Leader to determine amount of development work to be done
* Liaise with business users to understand and document their requirements
* Document changes required at such a level that developers can start development
* Work with testing team to ensure changes match requirements
* Liaise with project managers to feed in timescales for change into projects
* Develop processes and procedures as appropriate & as agreed with Head of IT
* Be willing to work outside core hours as required to deliver agreed requirements
