The role – Software Developer – where you will be responsible for the design, development and day to day support and administration of the Liberate case management system ensuring it meets the needs of the Practice. You will also be very supportive in providing data analysis and report writing to aid the business’ understanding of its KPIs.

The candidate – This would suit someone who already has 12 months + in a software development role, whether it be in legal software (case management system) or VB development, or VB.Net or SQL or any other software development language. The key to finding the right person for this role is finding someone who is passionate about software development who is keen to move into a different area and gain more skills.

As an experienced Software Developer you will ideally have the following experience;

·Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a software development role
·Knowledge of either VB, VB.Net, .Net, C# or SQL development
·High level of general IT skills and knowledge
·Excellent understanding of SQL, in particular; design, construction and execution of SQL queries, routine maintenance and performance monitoring
·Good knowledge and awareness of the IT sector and software development/design in general
·Basic knowledge of VBA (programming language)
·Good report writing and dashboard design skills
·Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
·Effective communication skills
·Excellent time management and organisational skills
·Ability to interact with others at all levels across the Practice
·Able to work on own initiative and unsupported from time to time
