Start-up Software House currently launching their first products is looking for a Business Analyst (competency level of 3 years+). The successful Business Analyst will be comfortable working within the software development life cycle, can break down requirements and get to the true core of what is needed and transfer this into the functional specifications for the development team. Are you able to challenge and question why something needs to be done, can you contribute to the process and get projects over the line?
The Business Analyst will be working on the development of cutting edge enterprise level software projects.

Working as a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for building key relationships between business functions and ensuring that technology requirements are identified and met. The role includes the delivery of activities following an agile way of working from inception through analysis or specification or user-acceptance testing and delivery of detailed user documentation. You will work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers and the wider development team.
This is an opportunity for you to experience working in a dynamic, fast moving software environment. As the first dedicated BA you will have the platform to create an environment of your own, set the standards, process and procedures and be instrumental in working with both internal/external customers and influencing all levels of stakeholders globally.
Any recognised business analysis qualifications such as SSADM, ISEB or BCS will be highly advantageous as well knowledge of the Agile methodology. They also offer flexi-working. This company invest in training, both internal/external courses for all BA’s.
Salary & Benefits: up to 45K + 25 days holiday. You will need to be in the office 2 days a week. Office based in the East Midlands, easily commutable from Leicester, Nottingham and Derby, Coventry etc. There may be adhoc trips to European destinations when suitable.
