We are looking for a “Software Support” / “Application Support” candidate on behalf of a global software house that is recognised for their investment in people including excellent training and career opportunities.

They are looking for an experienced 1st/2nd Line Helpdesk / Application support / Software Support Analyst who has excellent communication skills and can prioritise calls on a busy helpdesk. You will work at both 1st and 2nd line where you will try to fix problems before passing them down to the software development team. Any experience of ERP Software such as Dynamics, SAP, Navision would be a huge advantage as would any Visual Studio, SQL Server or MS Windows knowledge. An ITIL qualification would also be considered highly.

Any knowledge of reporting tools such as SQL Reporting, Crystal Reports or Business Objects will be beneficial, though not a necessity.

Language skills would also be a big plus – not a necessity, just handy with a global support desk.
